Upgrading from 2x8GB to 2x16GB DDR4-3200—doubling your total from 16 to 32GB—won’t give you a meaningful FPS boost in almost any game today. The vast majority of games use 12-16GB at most. Going beyond that only matters if you’re running a bunch of background apps, streaming, or playing heavily modded titles like Cities: Skylines or Microsoft Flight Simulator (and even then, the gains are small). Since your RAM speed stays the same (3200MHz), there’s no performance delta from that side either.
