32GB at 3200MHz on B450 with 2700X is a gamble.
Probably not out of the box. The Ryzen 7 2700X’s memory controller (Zen+) just isn’t as good as later chips, and B450 boards vary wildly in BIOS quality.
The problem is capacity and speed. 32GB usually means two dual-rank sticks (or four single-rank). Dual-rank DIMMs put more stress on the controller, and 3200MHz is already pushing it for Zen+. You might boot at 2933MHz or 3000MHz, but stable 3200MHz is a coin flip. Some boards and memory kits play nice, many don’t.
If you haven’t bought the RAM yet, I’d grab a 2x16GB kit from your board’s QVL list (check the manufacturer’s site) or just settle for a 3000MHz kit—you’ll barely notice the difference. If you already own the sticks, try setting XMP and running MemTest86. It might work, but don’t bet on it.
Future you will appreciate the stability of a slightly slower kit.
