32GB for 1440p? Not yet.

Probably not. Most modern games at 1440p run just fine on 16GB of RAM. You might see a small boost in a handful of titles like Star Citizen or Microsoft Flight Simulator, but for 95% of games, the difference between 16GB and 32GB in frames is single digits.

The money is better spent elsewhere—a faster GPU, a better cooler, or even just saving it. The real bottleneck at 1440p is your graphics card, not your RAM capacity. If you’re streaming, running a hundred Chrome tabs, or doing video editing in the background, sure, 32GB helps. But for pure gaming? It’s future-proofing at best.

Your GPU is still where the fight happens.
