32GB of RAM is worth the extra $50 for a 5600X.

Yes. $50 is a small price for peace of mind, and 16GB is starting to feel tight in newer games.

Most games still run fine on 16GB, but that’s changing. Starfield, Hogwarts Legacy, and heavily modded Skyrim or Cities: Skylines will happily eat 20GB+. If you also keep a browser open with 15 tabs (which you will), 16GB means you’re fighting the swap file. The 5600X does well with fast RAM too, so 3600 CL16 is the sweet spot either way.

The real trick: $50 now is way cheaper than buying a second 16GB kit later and praying it plays nice with your current sticks. DDR5 is the future, but DDR4 prices are low. Lock in the capacity today and don’t think about it for five years.
