32GB RAM won't help much for most games.

No. At 1440p in Cyberpunk or Starfield, your GPU is the bottleneck, not your RAM. 16GB is still the sweet spot for gaming.

Those games are heavy, sure, but they don’t exceed 12-14GB of RAM usage under normal play. Going to 32GB will not increase your framerate. You’ll see a difference only if you’re running a ton of background apps (Chrome with 40 tabs, Discord, streaming) or heavy mods that eat memory. Otherwise, put that money toward a better GPU or CPU.

I’d only upgrade if you’re already maxing out 16GB and getting stutters from pagefile usage. Check your RAM usage with MSI Afterburner while playing. If you’re below 14GB, you’re fine.

Future you might want 32GB in a few years, but today it’s not the upgrade.
