32GB RAM won't make your games load faster.

No.

Loading times are about how fast your storage can shovel data into RAM, not how much RAM you have. Once you have enough RAM to hold the game (16GB is plenty for any modern title), adding more doesn’t speed up that shovel. It’s like giving a bigger bucket to a kid filling a pool—the hose is still the bottleneck.

Where 32GB helps is keeping a bunch of Chrome tabs open while you game, or running memory-hungry mods, or playing a game like Microsoft Flight Simulator with everything maxed. It’s a future-proofing move, not a speed upgrade.

If your goal is faster loading, buy a faster SSD (NVMe is good, PCIe 4.0 is great). If you have one already, 16GB is fine.

Spend that extra hundred bucks on something that actually makes a difference.
