32GB RAM won’t meaningfully affect temperatures in an SFF PC.

RAM generates very little heat compared to your CPU or GPU. Going from 16GB to 32GB (two sticks either way) adds maybe a watt or two, and that’s not going to spike your case temps.

The real issue in small form factor builds is airflow obstruction, not the heat from the RAM itself. If you’re using two sticks of 16GB, the physical footprint is the same as two sticks of 8GB. If you’re trying to cram four sticks into a tiny case, that’s a different story — the extra modules can block airflow to the CPU cooler. But that’s a clearance problem, not a temperature problem about 32GB.

If your SFF build is running hot, look at your CPU cooler, fan configuration, and GPU clearance. The RAM is not your bottleneck.

Focus on airflow, not DIMM count.
