$50–$70 is the sweet spot for a decent 32GB DDR4 kit in 2025.
Probably around $60 for something reliable.
DDR4 is mature tech. Prices have settled low because DDR5 is the new hotness. You can find no-name kits for $40, but I’d stick with brands like Corsair, G.Skill, or Crucial for peace of mind. A 3200MHz CL16 kit is the standard “good enough” spec — anything faster barely matters for most people.
If you’re building a budget PC or upgrading an older system, this is the cheapest RAM will ever be. Don’t overthink it. Just grab a 2x16GB kit in that range and move on.
Future proofing? Not really, but if you’re on a DDR4 board, this is where you live now.
