64GB RAM won’t improve game load times.

No. Load times in Cyberpunk 2077 or any AAA game depend almost entirely on your storage speed (NVMe SSD) and the CPU/GPU decompression, not how much RAM you have.

Once the game loads assets into memory, 16GB is usually enough. Some games benefit from 32GB for smoother gameplay (especially with heavy mods or background apps), but doubling that to 64GB doesn’t make the loading bar move any faster. The game just isn’t asking for more than 16–20GB of system memory at once.

If you’re buying RAM for gaming, 32GB is the sweet spot. 64GB is for video editing, virtual machines, or huge spreadsheets. For loading screens, you’re better off checking your SSD model and making sure it’s PCIe 4.0 or faster.

Don’t let RGB marketing convince you otherwise.
