The fastest way to thaw a frozen refrigerator water line is a hair dryer—just don’t point it at plastic parts or leave it on high.

Find the section of the line that’s frozen. Usually it’s either the thin copper or plastic tubing snaking from the floor/wall into the fridge, or it’s inside the freezer where the line connects to the ice maker. If you can feel an area that’s ice cold to the touch while the rest is room temperature, that’s your target.
