A keto lunch box is just a bento box

There’s no such thing as a keto lunch box, but if you’re low-carb, a leak-proof bento-style box with separate compartments is what you want.

The keto part is the food, not the container. Keto lunches are mostly meat, cheese, eggs, and veggies, so you need two things a regular lunchbox doesn’t give you: compartments so things don’t touch, and a seal that won’t leak dressing or guac everywhere.

The Bentgo Original is the reliable pick — five compartments, tight seal, reasonably priced. If you’re mostly packing leftovers, a plain glass meal-prep set does the same job and handles hot food better. For chili, soups, or leftover brisket, skip the bento entirely and get a wide-mouth thermos jar instead.

Skip anything that brands itself as “keto.” It’s a plastic box with a markup. Any decent compartment container works; the diet does the heavy lifting.

Your lunch doesn’t know what you call the box.
