Yes. Don’t overcomplicate this. Look for a suit labeled UPF 50+ (which blocks 98% of UV rays) and make sure it fits snugly — loose swim shirts can ride up and leave skin exposed.
Long sleeves and a high neck are nice, but not required if you’re good about reapplying sunscreen on arms. The cheap rash guards from Target or Amazon work fine; the expensive brand-name ones aren’t meaningfully better. Just check the tag for UPF 50+ and a snug fit.
You still need sunscreen on their face, hands, and feet (if the suit doesn’t cover them). That’s more important than the logo on the suit.
