Aquaphor or plain petroleum jelly is your best bet for preventing eyelid chapping in bitter cold.
Eyelids are thin, have almost no oil glands, and take a beating from wind, dry air, and mask friction. Fancy eye creams with peptides or hyaluronic acid won’t cut it — they’re designed for hydration and wrinkles, not barrier protection. What you need is an occlusive that physically seals the skin against moisture loss.
