At 3200+ DPI, your mousepad barely matters.

Not really.

At those sensitivities, the sensor’s own noise and your hand’s micro-movements are way bigger factors than pad material. A cheap cloth pad works fine. Hard pads might feel smoother but won’t reduce cursor jitter or improve pixel-level accuracy.

If you’re chasing precision, lower your in-game sensitivity instead of cranking DPI. That’s where the real stability comes from.

Don’t overthink this — spend your money on a better mouse sensor instead.
