Bleach and sunlight kill pool float mold

Diluted bleach and direct sunlight are the fastest way to kill mold on a pool float.

Mix about a quarter cup of plain bleach into a gallon of water. Spray it on or wipe it down with a soft cloth, let it sit for 10–15 minutes, then scrub gently with a sponge. Use a soft brush or an old toothbrush around seams and the air valve — that’s where mold likes to hide.
