Yes, you can fix the veering — it’s a simple calibration, not a new vacuum.
On most Neato Botvac models (and a few others), there’s a button combo that triggers a gyroscope recalibration. Turn the vacuum off. Press and hold the Spot and Eco buttons at the same time for about five seconds. The lights should flash, then release. The vacuum will spin in place for 10–20 seconds while it recalibrates. That’s it.
If it’s still drifting after that, check the wheel encoders for hair or debris — dirty sensors cause the same symptom. A hard reset (pull the battery for 30 seconds) is worth trying too.
