Chain them, don't chase them.

Handle interdependent Q1 goals by treating them as a single system, not separate to-dos. You can’t optimize the morning routine in isolation if it lives or dies by the evening wind-down.

The mistake people make is trying to “balance” two goals that are really one chain. If waking early depends on the evening routine, then the evening routine is the keystone. Focus your energy there. Make it non-negotiable, and the morning habit will follow much more easily.

Practically, pick the foundational goal (the one that unlocks the others) and put 80% of your planning there. Use a simple if-then trigger: “If it’s 9 PM, I start winding down.” Don’t try to track both separately—track the chain. Miss one link, and you know exactly where the weak point is.

Your morning routine is only as strong as your bedtime.
