Check the CPU spec for the theoretical max, but it doesn't matter.

If the RAM is soldered, you’re stuck with whatever came in the laptop. That’s your practical maximum. No upgrade possible.

But if you’re just curious about the absolute ceiling the hardware supports, look up the CPU model on Intel Ark or AMD’s spec sheet. That will tell you the max supported memory—usually 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB depending on the chip.

The manufacturer’s own spec sheet might list a lower number because they only tested certain configurations. The CPU’s limit is the real limit, but it’s irrelevant for soldered RAM.
