Cobalt blue and abstract tropical prints are the vibe for summer 2025.

Yep. Those are the two big ones. Cobalt blue is replacing last year’s hot pink—bolder, more saturated, looks great on all skin tones. And abstract tropical prints (think blurred palm leaves or paint-splattered florals) are pushing out the clean geometric patterns of the past few summers.

The rest is just noise. Neon green and fuchsia are still around if you want attention, but if you’re buying one suit this year, cobalt will look current through the whole season. Tie-dye is fading. Animal print is always acceptable but not trendy.

If you want something that won’t look dated next summer, stick with a solid cobalt or a print that’s more painterly than literal. The literal banana-print stuff from 2023 is over.
