Cold wash, air dry, no fabric softener.

Same as regular swimwear, but more sensitive to heat and chemicals. Recycled materials like ECONYL and Repreve have shorter fibers and less tolerance for abuse.

Rinse immediately after swimming — chlorine and salt are the enemy. Hand wash with a mild detergent, cold water only. Never wring it out; squeeze gently. No dryer, no iron, no bleach. Fabric softener actually coats the fibers and reduces stretch recovery, so skip that too.

Hang in the shade, not direct sun. That’s it. You bought recycled to be kinder to the planet — treat the swimsuit kindly too.
