Coolers with Bluetooth speakers exist, but they're niche.
Yes, but they’re not for everyone. Igloo makes the Party Bar line with a built-in Bluetooth speaker and a bottle opener built into the lid. Yeti has the Link — a mount that attaches to their coolers for a JBL speaker. You can also find random Amazon brands that slap a speaker and USB port onto a rotomolded box.
USB charging ports are way more common. Lots of coolers (Igloo, Yeti, Pelican, even cheap Ozark Trail ones) have a built-in USB port to charge your phone. That’s actually useful if you’re camping and don’t want to carry a separate battery bank.
The speaker thing? It’s a gimmick. A decent Bluetooth speaker sounds better, lasts longer, and isn’t stuck to a cooler. Plus, if the cooler gets knocked over or rained on, you’re out a speaker.
If you’re hosting a tailgate and want one less thing to carry, go for it. Otherwise, grab a separate speaker and a power bank.
