Crush-proof chips come from compartments, not cushions

If you want chips to survive lunch, give them their own hard-sided compartment instead of relying on the air cushion in the bag.

The air-in-the-bag trick only works until the bag gets opened, squeezed, or tossed sideways. Then it’s crushed. The fix is simple: put the chips in a rigid container. A small snack-sized Tupperware or even a sturdy sandwich box works fine. You don’t need anything fancy.
