Cup holder lunch boxes are real — they're all cylinders

Yes, there are lunch boxes made to sit in a standard car cup holder, and they’re basically all cylindrical or tapered.

Standard cup holders are about 3 to 3.5 inches across at the bottom. So anything that fits is either a straight cylinder or a cone that narrows toward the base. Rectangular lunch boxes won’t cut it — they either don’t fit or they perch on top and slide into the passenger footwell on the first turn.
