DDR5-6400 gives you maybe 10% in CS2.
Don’t expect a huge jump.
CS2 is heavily CPU-bound and loves fast memory. Going from DDR4-3200 to DDR5-6400 usually nets you 5–15% more FPS in those crowded fights. The exact number depends on your CPU generation and the rest of your build — but it’s rarely a night-and-day difference.
If you’re building new, DDR5 is the obvious choice. If you’re already on DDR4, buying a new board and RAM for a 10% gain feels like a waste unless you have money to burn. The money is better spent on a faster GPU or actually upgrading the CPU first.
Only worth it if you’re starting from scratch.
