DDR5 is faster, but you won't notice in Cyberpunk.
Maybe 5-10% at best, and only if your CPU is already maxed out. In real-world gaming, DDR5-6000 CL30 feels about the same as good DDR4-3600 CL16.
The gains show up in productivity tasks — video editing, data crunching — not in open-world games. Cyberpunk 2077 is GPU-heavy. Even with a fast CPU, you’re usually waiting on the graphics card, not the RAM.
If you’re building new, grab DDR5 because it’s the current standard and prices have dropped. But if you already have a solid DDR4 system, upgrading just for RAM speed is a waste of money. You’d get more FPS by putting that cash toward a better GPU.
I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.
