The only way to store off-season clothes in a tiny apartment is to get rid of at least half of them, then vacuum seal the rest and shove them under your bed or on top of your closet.

Be brutal. If you haven’t worn it in a year, you’re not going to. Donate it. That jacket you “might need” is taking up space you don’t have. Keep only what you genuinely love and wear.

For the keepers: vacuum compression bags are a game changer. They shrink bulky sweaters and coats down to flat slabs. Slide them under the bed in flat bins or on the highest closet shelf. Use luggage you already own as storage for out-of-season items — stuff them into your suitcase or duffel bag. That’s free storage.

If you have vertical space, install a tension rod above your closet rod and stack folded items there. Or use hanging organizers with multiple shelves for folded jeans and sweaters. Rotate your wardrobe twice a year: pull out the cold-weather stuff in October, swap in warm-weather in April. The rest stays hidden.
