Digital tickets are your backup.
Yes, in most cases you can reprint or show a digital version, but it depends on how the event handles tickets.
If you bought online from Ticketmaster, AXS, or similar, your ticket lives in your account. Log in, find the order, and tap “View Ticket.” You can screenshot the barcode before you leave the house—that works even without service. If you got a paper ticket at a box office, you might be stuck, but many venues will reprint for a small fee if you have the confirmation email or ID.
A soaked ticket is trickier. If the barcode is smudged, the scanner won’t read it. In that case, having the digital version (or a screenshot) is a lifesaver. I wouldn’t count on the venue being generous if you show up with a wet ripped stub and no proof of purchase.
