Yes. Worth it.
Maid of the Mist gets you out on the water, looking up at the falls from a distance. You get wet, sure, but it’s more of a misty spray. Cave of the Winds puts you on a wooden walkway just a few feet from the base of Bridal Veil Falls. You are drenched. You feel the full force of the water. It’s a completely different perspective — not just a repeat of the same experience.
The scale of spray is not even close. Maid of the Mist is a mist. Cave of the Winds is a shower. You will wring out your clothes afterward.
If you can only do one, pick Cave of the Winds. But if you have time for both, do both. They complement each other well.
