The E25 is quiet, the C28 is powerful — pick your trade-off
The E25 runs at about 58dB, the C28 at 62dB on standard mode. That 4dB difference is real — about the gap between a quiet library and a running refrigerator. Not a chasm, but noticeable if you’ve got a sleeping baby in the next room.
I tried both on the same floor, same time of day. The E25 is the one I’d run during a nap. The C28 is fine for daytime when nobody’s resting. Neither is whisper-quiet. Both are way quieter than a traditional upright.
Pick the E25 if noise is your primary concern. Pick the C28 if the extra suction matters more. You can’t have both.
