The Dreame L10 Pro is a hard-floor hero but struggles on shag

The L10 Pro is a hard-floor hero with a carpet tolerance. It handles low-pile and medium-pile rugs fine — think entryway mats, office chair mats, thin bedroom rugs. But my friend has a shag rug in her living room and the L10 Pro struggled. It didn’t get stuck, but the suction couldn’t pull debris from deep in the fibers. Made passes that looked productive but left stuff behind.

Floor transitions are another weak point. Going from tile to a thick rug, it sometimes hesitated or took multiple attempts to climb the lip.

If your home is mostly hard floors with a few thin rugs — this is excellent. If you’re 70% deep plush carpet, look at something with stronger suction and a deeper-cleaning brush roll.
