Don't bother with 32GB for 1080p gaming.
No. 16GB is still the sweet spot for 1080p gaming. Most games max out around 12-14GB of RAM usage, even newer titles. 32GB is useful if you’re streaming, running a dozen Chrome tabs in the background, or doing video editing alongside your game. For pure gaming at 1080p, you’re just leaving money on the table.
Games haven’t caught up to 32GB yet. By the time they do, you’ll probably want a whole new build anyway. The only exception is something like Microsoft Flight Simulator with mods or heavy simulation games — but even then, 16GB manages fine for most people at 1080p.
Put that cash toward a better GPU or a faster SSD. Future you will thank you.
