Don't bother with padding. Get a suit that fits your frame.

Padding usually looks fake and shifts around. You’re better off with a cut that works with your shape.

Triangle tops and bandeaus with adjustable ties are your friends — they let you tighten things so the fabric actually stays put. Ruching, ruffles, or a high neckline add visual interest without relying on foam inserts that just float awkwardly.

If you want structure, look for underwire or a shelf bra. A lot of brands now make A-cup-specific lines (Aerie, Lively, some of the sportier swim labels). Don’t be afraid to size down in a two-piece — bagginess is worse than showing a little skin.

And honestly? Half the “small bust solutions” out there are trying to sell you padding. Ignore them. You don’t need to look bigger. You just need a suit that doesn’t fight your body.

Confidence looks better than any padding ever will.
