Dreame L10 Pro maps better than the Ecovacs X1.

Both use lidar, so neither is bad. But Dreame’s mapping is more consistent — fewer phantom walls, less drift, and it handles multi-floor homes better without resetting. Ecovacs X1 has a flashier app with video camera and voice control, but the core mapping accuracy has more hiccups. If clean, reliable floor plans are your priority, the Dreame wins.

The X1’s mapping can be great after updates, but out of the box I’d trust the Dreame to not get lost. The X1 tries to do more and sometimes stumbles. Mapping is a feature that should just work. Dreame makes it boring in the best way.

Pick the X1 if you want the robot butler experience. Pick the Dreame if you want the vacuum to just know where the couch is.
