Enable XMP and don't overthink it.

Enable XMP (or DOCP on AMD) in BIOS to run your RAM at its advertised speed. That’s the main thing. Without it, your 32GB kit will run at a slow JEDEC default like 2133 MHz or 2400 MHz, and you’re leaving performance on the table.

After enabling XMP, boot into the OS and check that the reported frequency matches what you bought. Use CPU-Z or Task Manager. If it’s stable, you’re done. If you get crashes or boot loops, the most likely fix is either lowering the frequency one step (e.g., 3200 → 3000) or bumping DRAM voltage by 0.05V. Don’t touch timings or other voltages unless you know what you’re doing.

For 32GB (especially dual-rank sticks) on a consumer motherboard, sometimes XMP profiles are overly aggressive. That’s normal. Just tweak slightly until stable.

You paid for the speed. Use it.
