Enable XMP and verify it's reading 32GB

Yes. Two things: check that BIOS reports 32GB total, then turn on XMP (or DOCP for AMD) to get the rated speed.

If it shows less than 32GB, you probably didn’t seat one stick all the way or you’re in the wrong slots. Most boards want slots 2 and 4 (counting from CPU) for dual channel. Pop them in, push until they click.

Speed defaults to a safe 2133 or 2400 MHz. That’s normal. Your 3200/3600 kit will run slow until you enable XMP. It’s in the “Overclocking” or “AI Tweaker” section — one toggle, save, reboot.

Final thought: Your RAM is fine; it’s just being conservative out of the box.
