Every two weeks.

At least every two weeks — more if you have pets or long hair. The brush roll is the robot’s main dirt-grabbing part, and hair wraps around it like a bad habit. Once it’s matted, suction drops and the brush stops spinning properly. You don’t need to wait for the “brush roll jam” error.

I check mine every time I empty the bin. Takes thirty seconds: pull the brush out, slide off the hair with the included tool (or scissors), pop it back in. If you wait a month, you’re basically dragging a hair-wrapped roller across your floors doing nothing.

Your robot will thank you by actually cleaning.
