Face sunscreen is worth the extra money

Yes, there’s a difference, and your face will thank you.

Body sunscreens are thicker, greasier, and more likely to sting your eyes or clog your pores. Face sunscreens are formulated to be lighter, non-comedogenic, and less irritating. They also tend to have better cosmetic finish—no white cast, no greasy shine.

If you’re in a pinch, body sunscreen will protect your face from burning. But it’ll probably feel gross and might break you out. I’d rather spend a few extra bucks on a dedicated face sunscreen and use the body stuff everywhere else.

Your face is not the same as your arm. Treat it accordingly.
