Niagara Falls State Park is open 365 days — winter is actually the most dramatic time to visit
The park never closes — 365 days a year, 24/7. Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds shut down from November through April, but the viewing paths, the winter Cave of the Winds experience, and the nightly illumination all stay open. Winter visitors get ice formations building along the gorge that you just don’t see in peak season.
