For Keto, Get a Bento Box

For keto, get a lunch box with separate compartments, not a big open container.

Your high-fat, low-carb meal is basically a collision of textures. You’ve got grilled chicken, half an avocado, some cheese cubes, and a handful of spinach. Throw that all in a standard Tupperware and you get soggy greens and smeared guac by noon. Separate compartments keep the food intact, the portions in check, and your lunch actually appetizing.

Look for something with built-in dividers or small leak-proof containers for dressings and oils. The Bentgo boxes and similar bento-style containers are perfect for this. If you want something sturdier, stainless steel or glass are better than plastic — fats soak into plastic and leave that stale smell no matter how many times you run the dishwasher.

Don’t overthink it. A basic 3-compartment meal prep container works just as well as a fancy name brand. The key is separation and easy cleaning. Insulated is nice if you want to keep things cold, but not required.

Your macro-friendly lunch deserves better than a Tupperware mishmash.
