Forget the router, re-pair the vacuum.

You need to factory reset the vacuum’s Wi-Fi, not just your router settings. Most robot vacs store the old network credentials locally, and a new SSID or password won’t auto‑fix.

Hold down the power or reset button on the vacuum for 10‑15 seconds (check your manual for the exact combo) until it beeps or the lights flash. That wipes the saved network. Then delete the device from the app, force quit the app, and go through the setup process again as if it were brand new. This usually works.

If that fails, also reboot your router and phone. And make sure you’re on the 2.4 GHz band — many cheap vacs don’t support 5 GHz.

A full reset takes ten minutes and saves you the frustration of thinking your vacuum is broken.
