Get a cordless stick vacuum instead.

Probably not worth it. In a small apartment, you can vacuum the whole place in five minutes with a lightweight stick vac. A robot vacuum costs more, takes longer, and still misses corners and under furniture you could reach with a stick.

The main selling point of robot vacs is convenience—letting them run while you’re out. In a small space, you’re never that far from a wall outlet anyway. And you still have to empty the bin, clean the brushes, and untangle it from charging cables. That’s about as much effort as just vacuuming yourself.

I’d only consider one if you have pets that shed constantly and hard floors. Even then, a cheap stick vac does the job faster.

You’re better off with a $100 stick vac and a dustpan.
