Get a knitted mousepad for drawing.
If you’re doing art, knitted fabric gives you more control than woven.
Woven pads are smooth and fast—great for gaming flick shots, but your brush strokes will feel slippery. Knitted fabric has a bit of texture and give under the mouse, so you get more friction. That makes fine lines and curves easier to place without overshooting.
Knitted pads also tend to wear softer over time, while woven can get shiny and inconsistent. The tradeoff is that knitted may collect crumbs and dust a little more, but for drawing, control wins.
Don’t overthink it. If you’re serious about line accuracy, knitted is the move.
