Get the Bentgo Salad box

The Bentgo Salad is the best lunch box for meal-prepped salads if you want dressing that stays sealed and leaves that stays crisp until noon.

It has three compartments—greens on the bottom, toppings on top, and a little dressing cup that clicks into the lid and screws shut. That’s the whole trick: the dressing never touches your greens until you pour it. No soggy spinach by the time you’re actually hungry.

The seal is legit. Cheap dressing cups leak all over your bag; this one doesn’t. The cup locks in place, and the lid clamps shut with a silicone gasket. I’ve thrown mine sideways into a backpack and it came out clean. It also comes with a fork and is dishwasher safe, so you’re not hunting for cutlery or hand-washing anything fancy.

One tip: pack your greens dry and put a paper towel in the bottom if you’re going for a full 12 hours. And if your office fridge runs warm, toss the whole thing in an insulated bag with a small ice pack—the container itself isn’t insulated, so keeping it cold is on you.

This is one of those cases where buying the right thing beats buying the cheap thing twice.
