Get the biggest desk pad you can fit.
Yes, the ideal size for low-sens arm aiming is as large as your desk allows. Think 900x400mm or bigger — that’s standard “extended” or “XXL” size.
Here’s why: low sensitivity means you move your whole arm, not just your wrist. If your mousepad is too small, you’ll run out of room mid-flick or have to lift and reposition constantly. That kills consistency. A huge pad lets you do a full 180 without hitting the edge.
Most cloth mousepads that size are cheap (like $20-30) and last forever. You don’t need a fancy brand. Just get one with stitched edges so it doesn’t fray. The extra space also means your keyboard sits on it, which looks clean and feels nice.
One thing: measure your desk first. If you have a tiny desk, a 900x400 pad might overhang. That’s annoying. But if you have room, go big.
You can always slide your keyboard off the pad if you need less. You can’t make a small pad bigger.
