Give your lunch box something to grip

The easiest way to stop your lunch box from sliding around is to give it something to grip inside your bag.

The sliding happens because you have a smooth, rigid box bouncing around in a mostly empty bag with slick lining. It’s not your bag’s fault; it’s physics. So you don’t need a new bag or some fancy organizer.

Wrap the lunch box in a kitchen towel or tuck it against a sweatshirt or notebook. That fills the empty space and creates friction. If you want something more permanent, stick a few strips of self-adhesive Velcro (the soft side) on the bottom of the lunch box and the inside of your bag. It’ll stay put without being a hassle.

Honestly, a cheap towel does the job better than half the “anti-slip” gadgets sold for this. And it doubles as a napkin.
