Glass bento boxes are the meal prep move

Glass multi-compartment containers are the best choice for Sunday meal prep, and the three-compartment ones from Prep Naturals or Glasslock are exactly what you want.

You’re packing five days of food, so these things are going to take a beating. Plastic works but it stains, holds smells, and a warped plastic lid after months of microwaving is a real bummer. Glass reheats evenly, washes clean instantly, and doesn’t care about leftover turmeric or marinara.

Buy the three-compartment size, roughly 30–40 ounces total. That gives you room for a protein, a starch, and a vegetable without everything touching in one wet pile. If you eat the same lunch every day, get a five-pack and fill them all Sunday afternoon. If you like variety, buy two different sizes and swap.

Two honest caveats: the lids are plastic, so vent them or pop them off before microwaving. And the full container is heavier than plastic, which matters if you’re biking with a backpack but not if you’re walking from the car to the office.

Prep Naturals is my pick. Glasslock if you want sturdier locking latches. Future You on Thursday will be grateful.
