Go shallow and rolling
For a tiny home office, the best under-desk storage is a shallow, rolling drawer unit or a modular shelf system that doesn’t eat your legroom.
Deep cabinets are the enemy. They push you back from your desk, ruin your typing posture, and make the room feel cramped. A 12-inch-deep rolling cart (the classic metal drawer units from IKEA or similar) slides right under almost any desk. It gives you room for files, spare cables, and a few small electronics without hogging floor space.
For paperwork you actually use, ditch the deep drawers. A vertical file organizer on a shelf above the desk works better — you flip through it standing up. For the stuff under the desk
