Go to the upper platform near the exit, not the main spray zone.

Yes. Most people crowd the main lower deck right under Bridal Veil Falls. That’s where you get drenched and the view is just a wall of white. Instead, climb the stairs to the upper walkway near the exit. It’s less crowded, you’re elevated, and you get a diagonal angle of the falls with much less mist. From there you can frame the American Falls in the background too. The mist still hits, but it won’t fog your lens completely. Bring a microfiber cloth anyway.
