Goat Island is the better choice for a first-time visitor with limited time.

Goat Island. If you only have a few hours, that’s where you want to be. It gets you right up to the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, plus the Cave of the Winds entrance. It’s the classic Niagara Falls experience.

Three Sisters Islands are smaller and quieter, further downstream. Nice for a peaceful walk, but they don’t have the big views or the main attractions. If you’re short on time, you’ll feel like you’re missing the main event.

Save the Three Sisters for a return trip or if you’ve already seen everything on Goat Island and have an hour to kill.
