Ignore body shape 'rules' – fit and confidence matter more.
Pick the one that feels good, not the one the internet says is “right for your shape.”
The whole “pear shape should wear high-cut, hourglass should wear low-rise” stuff is mostly made up by people trying to sell you things. Bodies are way more individual than four categories.
Better approach: order three different cuts — a classic cheeky, a high-leg, and a fuller coverage. Try them on at home with good lighting. The one you don’t keep adjusting is the one. Fabric matters too — stiff fabric holds shape better if you want more coverage; stretchy fabric moves with you but can get bunchy.
Also, ignore anyone who says you need a certain style to “balance” your hips or waist. If you like how it looks, it flatters. The only real rule is that it doesn’t dig in or slip off.
You’ll know the right one because you stop thinking about it.
